Cliff Richard(克里夫理查德)1940年10月出生在印度的Lucknow，英国籍，他是英国流行音乐历史上最受欢迎和演艺生涯最长的艺人之一，有英国猫王和金童子的美称。在英国，他有八十多首歌曲进榜的纪录，其中十首是冠军曲，其中《情如海深》是英国乐坛长青树克里夫理查浪漫杰作，此歌是80年代经典情歌84年英国榜top30。
